Criterion Industries acquires Bluett & Swann.

We’re pleased to announce that Criterion Industries will acquire Bluett & Swann, a respected Australian manufacturer and installer of operable wall systems with more than 30 years of industry experience, effective 10 August 2026.

The acquisition expands Criterion’s Australian manufacturing capability and introduces acoustic operable wall solutions to our growing portfolio of interior building products and solutions.

Bluett & Swann’s operable wall systems are used across commercial, education, health and other environments where flexible space and acoustic performance are increasingly important.

The range is a natural complement to Criterion’s existing solutions, allowing us to support architects, designers, builders and contractors across more aspects of their projects and continue to provide innovative solutions to client’s needs.

Manufacturing will continue from Bluett & Swann’s Dandenong South facility, while becoming part of the Criterion group.

We look forward to building on Bluett & Swann’s strong foundations and bringing these additional capabilities to Criterion customers across Australia.
